Welcome to Auckland

Sky Tower, one of Auckland's biggest attractions.
Taken only about an hour after the first picture of Sky Tower, showing how quickly the weather changes in New Zealand.
The view from the window of our hostel room.
Another view from our window (DOUBLE RAINBOW!)
Wynyard Quarter, Auckland's main waterfront area.

A room of all the different scents which can enhance (or ruin) wines.
Wine tasting!!!
Sometimes sticking your arm out the bathroom window can result in a great capture.
Walking to breakfast, or as Kiwis say, "brekkie".
A greenhouse we happened upon while walking through Auckland.

A shot of the greenhouse from the outside.
Feeding baby lambs at Sheep World (which is way more fun than it sounds, by the way).
Driving from Sheep World to the Waiwera thermal pools.
The Waiwera thermal pools, a mini waterpark sort of resort built around naturally occurring hot springs.

At one of the apparently "lame" beaches near Auckland.
Auckland's skyline.
In Devonport, where we all had dinner the last night of the UCEAP orientation.
Another shot of the sunset in Devonport.
Inside the restaurant, where we had our last good, big dinner before two weeks of oatmeal, ramen, and PB&J.
